Dethatcher
Thatch removal on lawns is a process similar to aeration where the lawn surface is thoroughly massaged with metal tines or prongs in an effort to improve lawn health. Reducing the levels of thatch, much like lawn aeration, increases the effectiveness of watering and fertilizing, providing much needed nutrients to the grass roots directly, and should be carried out in both autumn and spring when organic matter is at its peak. Our industrial tow tine dethatchers come in a variety of sizes, attach easily in a variety of configurations to any garden tractor, ATV or UTV, and feature the rust-resistant powder coating common to all of our farm and garden products range.
